Why do you require a phone number with a PayPal order?

We value your privacy and are asking for your phone number in order to get your items to you as quickly as possible. We do not rent, share, or sell your number, nor will we solicit you by phone for new business.

We will use your phone number for three things:

1. Sometimes we need to clarify your order with you.  (You ordered 2 pieces of Velcro but got the hook side twice.)
2. Occasionally we have a shortage of the item you ordered and we need to see if you would like a substitute fabric, can use a smaller amount, etc.
3. We will include it in your shipping record in case the shipping company needs to get hold of you to arrange for delivery.  FedEx requires a phone number for shipping and UPS strongly suggests providing a phone number.
